Truly feel this make and model was built to last and look great! AWD, Luxury, all power, comfort, very spacious, and stance of this vehicle is exceptionally well when it comes to appearance, clearance and handling. With all vehicles, preventative maintnance is crucial for a long lasting machine. Sometimes parts will fail on any vehicle. And depending on manufacturer design, some repair jobs may be more tedious than others. Internal and external parts will greatly factor into the level of a repair. Do not like that water pump is internal. But, I have owned 2 (2013s) and never had that particular issue. With the limited (ecoboost) with twin turbos, (any turbos, will eventually fail, 1st flex I owned it happened at 180k miles, Understandably) learned to always use synthetic oil, every 5k miles. Clean oil is best for any vehicle, especially those with turbos. Those are the only 2 potential costly repairs that arise from some consumer reports. Plugs, brakes, suspension components you will change depending on personal driving characteristics and age/mileage. Solid performing SUV to say the least. If suspension was built more rugged/tougher to last over 150k miles and water pump was designed to be external(easier to access part)this vehicle would hands down be the best suv ever manufactured by Ford. The 3.5 motor and transmission are solid as can be. Flex forums all over await for the flex to be brought back to the new car market! Dont let us down Ford!

I sold my flex last August. I now own a 2024 Edge ST. What is the Edge worth with 39000 miles and great condition

I bought this car 3 months before my daughter was born in August 2009. I've driven all 239,250 miles. The car has been flawless. I love this car. I guess the only drawback is that the primary driver side AC vents hit my hands when aimed directly at me. I would give this vehicle 6 stars. 23 combined MPG, never an issue.
